THE BUSINESS FOR SCOTLAND ROADSHOW COMES TO DUMFRIESSHIRE

Pro-Independence group Business for Scotland will bring their dedicated campaign bus to Dumfriesshire this weekend in the latest leg of their tour of the country.

The group of Independence supporting business leaders are currently travelling the country engaging with local businesses across Scotland to promote the business case for Scottish Independence.

The battle bus will be parked in Dumfries Town Centre on Friday and allows an opportunity for local business people to come along and ask their questions about independence.

On Friday evening there will be a meeting of local Yes businessmen who support Yes at the Aston Hotel from 7pm – 9pm.

On Saturday the bus will visit Moffat, Lockerbie, Langholm, Annan and Dumfries during the day – making short stops in each town to meet local business people and anyone who wants to know more about how independence will benefit the economy of Scotland.

Local MSP Joan McAlpine said:

“This is a great opportunity for local business owners to have their questions answered by like-minded people.

“Business for Scotland was founded by six Scottish SME business owners who have scrutinised the economic facts and figures and now passionately believe that Independence is the way forward.

“They have been a great asset to the campaign so far touring the country and providing the economic facts and educated opinions required for people to make an informed decision on September 18th.”
