McLeod urges young voters to engage with Scottish Parliament questionnaire

SNP MSP for the South of Scotland Aileen McLeod is urging young people aged 16 and 17 across Dumfries & Galloway who voted in the Scottish Independence Referendum to respond to an online survey produced by the Scottish Parliament Committee tasked with examining the devolution of further powers to the Scottish Parliament.
Aileen said:
“One of the fantastic things about the referendum was the engagement with young voters. I spoke at numerous debates arranged by High Schools across Dumfries & Galloway and found 16 and 17 year-olds were fully engaged with the arguments and often asking both sides on panels the most difficult questions.
“The Scottish Parliament Committee tasked with examining the devolution of further powers to Scotland has set up an online survey for 16 and 17 year-old voters to ask them for their opinions and experience of the referendum and being able to vote.
“I’d urge anyone across Dumfries & Galloway who is 16 or 17 and voted in the referendum to take a moment to complete the survey, which can be found at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2XVXMYL.
