Harper welcomes Big Lottery support for local organisations

> SNP MSP for the South of Scotland Emma Harper today (Thursday) welcomed the news that the Big Lottery Fund has made awards totalling £392,655 to three local organisations in Galloway.

> Wigtownshire Womens Aid has been awarded £380,439 to continue providing services hen existing funding ceases, Cree Valley Community Woodlands Trust has been awarded £4,600 to support the creation of a business plan and community survey into the possibility of acquiring a Scottish Youth Hostel Association property, and Kirkcudbright Development Trust has been awarded £7,616 to undertake community consultation and business planning work which will enable them to take over running Silvercraigs Caravan Park in the town.
