All of Scotland’s Council Tax payers will benefit from a Council Tax Freeze in 2024/25, providing much needed financial relief particularly to vulnerable households.![]()

The Government will work with COSLA on the detail of implementation over the coming weeks, on the basis that the freeze will need to be fully funded.![]()

The SNP is committed to a fairer, more inclusive and fiscally sustainable form of local taxation and are committed to exploring proposals for meaningful changes to to Council Tax, in partnership with Local Government. ![]()
