DEPUTY SNP LEADERSHIP HUSTINGS IN THE DUMFRIESSHIRE CONSTITUENCY

SNP MSP Joan McAlpine is delighted to announce a hustings for the SNP Deputy Leadership in the Dumfriesshire constituency this Saturday.

 

The three candidates for the SNP Deputy leader position, Keith Brown MSP, Angela Constance MSP and Stewart Hosie MP will each make a short presnentation to party members followed by a Q and A session chaired by Ms McAlpine.

 

 The hustings will take place in Lockerbie Town Hall, High Street, Lockerbie, DG11 2ES on Saturday 25th October. Doors open at 1.00 pm for a 1.30pm start.

“It a testament to the local strength of the SNP in Dumfriesshire that the three Deputy Leadership candidates have accepted my invitation to come to Lockerbie for this hustings. Our membership has grown from a few hundred across Dumfriesshire to more than 1000. It continues to climb every day. We want to include our new members in all our democratic processes and this question and answer session is part of that.”
