The SNP is committed to the living wage and tackling pay inequality in Scotland.

·      We are leading by example. This SNP government is the first Scottish Government to adopt the living wage for all of its employees.

·      We are working to encourage all other employers to pay the living wage.

·      With independence an SNP government will establish a Fair Work Commission to tackle pay inequality, with the guarantee that the Scottish national minimum rage would rise every year at least in line with inflation
